Kagayaki Update

"Everybody makes mistakes, but what you do afterwords determines what kind of person you are."  I often hear "everybody makes mistakes", and that's pretty much all.  I feel the last part is especially true.  I was the person that released the Sacred Seven video that is labeled by Hadena and Kagayaki.  It just so happened that it was no where near ready to be released.  I want to apologize to Hadena for this gigantic blunder on my part.  With that being said, some or all of the anime series we are doing with them may be delayed or canceled.  I'm sorry Hadena for the trouble this has caused your group.

Chikku Nee-chan episode 2 released!

I was asked a while ago to get this episode out.  I finally found a translator with the time to help me out.  It's all thanks to that person that you can enjoy this episode.  Thanks Akarui_Ame, for taking the time to translate this episode.

Next Project

Well, it has been decided.  The next project that Kagayaki is doing is going to be Morita-san ha Mukuchi.  I discussed this at length with the only translator that's willing to help me right now and that's what we've decided on.  The translator is working in another group, so, this series is going to be a joint effort with Hadena.  Unlike before, I know this translator personally.  I can't thank him enough for taking time out of his schedule just to help me.  I'm still going to need staff to help pull this off so if you know anything about subbing anime, please don't hesitate to drop by our IRC channel.

Hoshizora e kakaku Hashi Dropped!

It kinda pains me to say this:  "Hoshizora Is no longer being released by Kagayaki".  I was a little too naive to think I could do it.  When I first saw that it took a week for the first episode to be released, I just felt that it was an injustice to this anime.  That was the whole reason I started this group.  Since then, though, there have been so many groups subbing it.  My question is: "Why now and not when it first came out?"  Either way,  with my resources being almost non-existent, I can't do much about it.  I tried a little too much to get it done because I didn't want to give up.  In the end, it would have taken too much from the people I've asked for help to continue this even though it's already properly subbed.  With that in mind, I feel that it is the best time to drop this series.  Thank you to all the people who have watched our releases; Thank You Ayako and Shikkaku for helping me with all sorts of stuff that I asked you to help me with, and let me say sorry for not being as good as it should have been.

I am planning on continuing this group so there will be releases in the future(if all goes well Next season).
I am still going to need staff so please feel free to visit us on the IRC channel #kagayaki.

Episode 03 Released

Hoshizora Episode 03 has been released.  Most of the people who have worked on it was from Shikkaku Fansubs so I felt it was only fair for their name to be on this release as well.  I guess it was an episode early for the joint but that's fine by me.

Hoshizora News

After the release of Hoshizora Episode 03, It will be a joint effort between Kagayaki and Shikkaku Fansubs.  The people at Shikkaku Fansubs and also at Ayako Fansubs have been very helpful with assisting me in this venture.  This was the only option I had available to me in order to actually finish this anime.  I greatly appreciate their help with this.  Thank you Shikkaku staff!

Episode 02 Released

Hoshizora episode 02 has been released.

Right now I only have the mkv uploaded.  I will upload the avi soon.
I will also post the direct download links as soon as I get the avi uploaded.

As it is right now, I only have one more episode translated.  When I finish with that one, I will drop this series.  I don't have enough staff right now to continue.  Thank you for looking at these releases.

We need help

Staff is really limited so if you know anything about anime, Or would like to learn about a certain aspect of producing subtitles for an anime, don't hesitate to apply.  Most of the time there's at least one person in the main channel (#kagayaki@irc.rizon.net).  If not drop an e-mail at Kagayakifansubs@rocketmail.com.  If we don't get more staff soon Kagayaki is going to have to drop Hoshizora, so Please help us out.  Thanks

The MKV file didn't turn out too good because my computer couldn't render the karaoke effects too well.  The subs however are still the same.

The beginning

This is the first blog of this site and this fansubbing group.  I watched this series when it was in raw and decided that I wanted to do this series one way or another.  Right now the staff is very limited.  I had to ask help from two other fansub groups to help pull this all together, but it looks like it's finally getting close enough that the group can do it.  I would appreciate any good or bad criticism.  When this group gets a proper staff I will post their names here for their recognition in helping contribute success to this fansub group.  Thanks and stay tuned.
